Python Engineer, Crypto - Singapore- Global Quant Firm

As a Python Engineer at this HFT fund's crypto trading team, you are a hybrid quant and developer who will directly advance the team's trading footprint. You work on building and optimizing trading strategies, researching new protocols and data sources, and designing systems that position the team as a top crypto trader and major contributor to the crypto ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Build and optimize trading strategies for cryptocurrency markets
• Research new protocols and data sources to inform trading decisions
• Design and improve research and trading systems
• Collaborate with team members to advance the team's mission in crypto trading and ecosystem contribution
• Maintain high code quality standards and drive improvements to system architecture and scalability

What you bring

• 2+ years of programming experience in Python
• Exceptional programming ability with high personal coding standards
• Strong understanding of Unix and git
• Ability to drive long-term projects independently and creatively
• Not a fresh graduate; you have demonstrable professional or industry experience

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems
• Interest in or contributions to open-source software
• Exposure to or interest in cryptocurrencies
