Risk Manager, Brazil

As a Risk Manager at OKG's OKX exchange in Brazil, you provide independent second-line oversight of fraud risk management across the platform. You work with our first-line teams to validate risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance with Brazilian Central Bank (BCB) standards, and drive continuous improvement in fraud detection and prevention controls.

What you'll do

• Conduct independent review and challenge of fraud risk assessments by first-line teams, including RCSA validation, control effectiveness testing, and escalation of identified gaps to senior management
• Oversee incident documentation quality and accuracy, ensuring alignment with BCB regulatory standards and contributing to the BCB 260 annual fraud report
• Monitor regulatory SLAs for fraud investigation requests, reviewing first-line responses for adequacy, flagging deficiencies, and ensuring timely escalation when SLAs are at risk
• Ensure BCB 343 compliance by monitoring 24-hour fraud event registrations and monthly declarations submitted by first-line teams
• Conduct independent assessment of BCB-directed investigations through evidence review, challenge of first-line findings, and preparation of formal regulatory responses
• Identify and escalate fraud patterns with potential money laundering indicators to the Compliance and AML function
• Monitor the effectiveness of the Dynamic Deposit Limit scoring model and Eagle Eye controls through periodic reviews and recommendations for adjustments to first-line teams
• Analyse platform fraud data to identify emerging typologies, assess control gaps, and produce findings for senior management and regulatory reporting
• Own second-line fraud risk policies and procedures, drafting and maintaining documentation while providing binding guidance to first-line teams on control design and implementation standards

• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management in financial services

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
