Senior Accountant, AP/AR & Cash

As a Senior Accountant for AP/AR & Cash at Mesh, you own payables, receivables, cash, and crypto end to end: the subledgers, reconciliations, and collections. You are the dedicated collections owner, ensuring customers are billed correctly and pay on time, with your portion of the close done and reconciled in the first week.

What you'll do

• Own AP: process bills with our part-time AP processor, run the weekly payment approval cycle, reconcile AP to Bill.com aging, and clean up aged and negative items
• Own cash and crypto: perform monthly reconciliations for every bank and wallet, the Bill.com clearing account and restricted cash, apply cash for wire and stablecoin receipts, manage crypto journal entries and crypto subledger
• Own AR: manage invoicing using billing data from FinOps, perform AR tie-outs, record revenue recognition entries under ASC 606, prepare customer statements and track DSO
• Run the purchase order process: match POs to bills in Bill.com, hold bills above threshold that have no PO, and track open POs and committed spend for the close
• Run collections under receivables SLA: conduct follow-ups, escalate to account owners, and reserve for balances over 60 days
• Reconcile company cards and review transaction coding as card feeds are automated
• Reconcile crypto accounts using statements from Treasury
• Own audit requests for AP, AR, cash, and crypto
• Supervise the AP processor and protect vendor master data
• Own month-end journal entries and reconciliations across AP/expenses, AR/revenue, cash, and crypto

What you bring

• CPA or CPA track, with 4-8 years across public accounting and industry
• Experience with AI tools or workflow automation, such as using AI to speed up reconciliations, journal entry prep, or reporting
• Hands-on subledger and reconciliation experience in NetSuite
• Collections experience and ability to communicate directly and professionally with customers
• Bill.com experience and multi-entity exposure
• Strong depth in crypto and stablecoin reconciliations and journal entries, as this is core to the role
• Revenue recognition experience under ASC 606

• Payments or fintech industry experience including MTL reporting
