Senior Blockchain & Smart Contract Engineer

As a Senior Blockchain & Smart Contract Engineer at QualityMedia, you take ownership of blockchain engineering decisions and contribute to protocol architecture. You design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts across Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and production-ready. You bring hands-on experience building and shipping real-world blockchain applications, DeFi protocols, or other Web3 infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity
• Build and maintain applications across Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks
• Develop and integrate DeFi protocols and blockchain-based financial systems
• Establish smart contract architecture and development standards
• Conduct contract testing, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments
• Optimize smart contract execution and gas consumption
• Identify potential security risks and implement preventive measures
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver scalable blockchain solutions
• Take ownership of technical decisions and development processes

What you bring

• Extensive professional experience in blockchain development
• Strong proficiency in Solidity, Ethereum, and EVM architecture
• Demonstrable experience developing and deploying production smart contracts
• Experience working with DeFi protocols, Web3 applications, and tokenomics
• Strong knowledge of Foundry and/or Hardhat
• Understanding of smart contract security, auditing, and common vulnerabilities
• Experience with gas optimization and contract performance
• Strong problem-solving and independent technical decision-making skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Layer 2 networks and EVM-compatible chains
• Previous contributions to established DeFi protocols
• Experience with formal verification and automated security testing
• Contributions to blockchain open-source projects
• Public GitHub repositories demonstrating smart contract engineering expertise
