Senior Counsel, Regulatory and Product

As Senior Counsel, Regulatory and Product at FalconX, you will lead the company's global regulatory strategy and product compliance. Reporting to the Lead Attorney, you own execution of the 2026 licensing roadmap and ensure the product suite maintains the highest institutional compliance standards. You are a specialist who thrives at the intersection of evolving regulation and cutting-edge financial technology.

What you'll do

• Execute the licensing roadmap by directly managing and executing new license applications (VASP, MTL, and international equivalents) across all 2026 target jurisdictions
• Own product compliance by partnering with Product and Engineering from ideation to launch, providing regulatory guardrails for new asset classes and trading features
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and reporting requirements, ensuring full standing with global oversight bodies
• Monitor global legislative shifts such as MiCA and SEC/CFTC developments, and translate them into technical and operational requirements for the platform

What you bring

• 4+ years of experience as a regulatory attorney in fintech, crypto, or institutional finance
• Proven experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional licensing processes
• The ability to distil opaque regulatory guidance into clear, actionable business advice
