(Senior) DevOps Engineer (F/M/*)

As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer at Amber Group, you will help scale Europe's business AI platform. Amber is the largest AI start-up in Aachen, building a system-wide AI platform where business intelligence and AI agents work on a shared context layer so teams can work faster and knowledge stays within organisations. You will take our infrastructure to the next level, making it more stable and scalable.

What you'll do

• Automate our product and setup processes to reduce manual workload
• Work closely with our development team to optimise daily deployments of new software versions and resolution of technical issues
• Design, implement and document improvements to our security measures for customers and external audits
• Scale deployments across dozens of customers, including managing large databases, container orchestration and cloud-native tools
• Monitor incident response, perform root-cause analysis and lead service recovery to ensure minimal downtime
• Set up and maintain a robust monitoring and alerting solution to identify and resolve platform issues proactively

What you bring

• Professional experience with Linux-based systems
• Knowledge of deploying and managing workloads across multiple cloud providers
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes management, container orchestration and related cloud-native technologies
• A strong understanding of development and operations cycles, including CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience managing data streams with tools like Grafana, Kibana or Prometheus
• Fluent communication in both German and English with various stakeholders
• Reliability in completing tasks end-to-end and taking ownership
• Basic programming knowledge and comfort with Java or Python

• Experience with Windows Server
• Experience with Rust or Go
