Senior DevOps / SRE – Blockchain & Digital Assets H/F (IT) / Freelance

As a Senior DevOps / SRE specialist in blockchain and digital assets infrastructure, you will develop and operate a new platform dedicated to tokenised assets. You'll work in a highly available, secure, and regulated environment where reliability, automation, and service continuity are critical.

What you'll do

• Design and industrialise blockchain infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes and containerised environments
• Ensure controlled, zero-downtime deployments
• Implement observability across the platform: metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
• Define and track SLI, SLO, and Error Budgets
• Participate in incident management, on-call rotations, root cause analysis, and post-mortems
• Design runbooks and disaster recovery / rollback procedures
• Guarantee security, auditability, and traceability of infrastructure
• Contribute to the operation and reliability of blockchain and DLT components
• Participate in blockchain security topics and smart contract testing
• Contribute to AIOps initiatives: anomaly detection, alert management, and incident synthesis

What you bring

• Significant, hands-on professional experience operating blockchain or DLT infrastructure in production
• Senior-level DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering expertise
• Deep understanding of blockchain-specific operational challenges alongside classical reliability, automation, security, observability, and production concerns
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and GitOps
• Proficiency with observability tools: metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, alerting, and SLI/SLO management
• Experience with incident management, on-call processes, runbooks, and post-mortems
• Knowledge of EVM, Ethereum, Solidity, smart contracts, and blockchain infrastructure
• Experience with Hyperledger Besu, Canton / Canton Network, or permissioned blockchains
• Familiarity with smart contract security and testing methodologies such as fuzz testing and invariant testing
• Experience with infrastructure security, security hardening, IAM, least privilege, and secrets management
