(Senior) Frontend Engineer (F/M/*)

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Amber Group, you design and build cutting-edge interfaces for Europe's business AI platform. You'll work with the product and backend teams to craft seamless user experiences, optimize performance, and mentor developers while helping shape the future of AI solutions for medium-sized companies.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable applications using Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• Collaborate closely with product and backend teams to define and implement RESTful API integrations
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that sets the standard for the team
• Identify performance bottlenecks and continuously optimize the frontend stack
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help define and standardize frontend tooling and conventions
• Conduct code reviews and actively mentor mid-level and junior developers
• Stay up to date with modern web technologies and promote continuous improvement in code quality and team collaboration
• Support the team during critical releases and take ownership of delivering key features

What you bring

• Several years of experience in frontend development, including hands-on work with Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS, along with a solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and asynchronous data handling
• Comfort with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and modern frontend tooling like Webpack or Vite
• Knowledge of testing best practices using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks
• A strong UI/UX sensibility and the ability to work collaboratively with design teams
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue Composition API
• Knowledge of backend integration with Node.js
