Senior IT Engineer

As a Senior IT Engineer at Morpho, you run corporate IT for a leading DeFi lending protocol backed by a16z crypto, Paradigm, Ribbit Capital, and others. You manage accounts and access, the Mac fleet, SaaS tools, and work closely with the security team to keep the company's infrastructure secure. The role is broad and hands-on: you automate repetitive work, build tooling, and own the full IT stack from onboarding through incident response.

What you'll do

• Administer SSO, directory services and password management, handling onboarding, offboarding and regular access reviews
• Manage the Mac fleet: setup, MDM policies, OS and app updates, and endpoint security agent deployment
• Apply security baselines and access policies defined by the security team across all tools and devices
• Administer SaaS tools: setup, admin access, licensing, and onboarding new vendors
• Support the security team during incidents by isolating devices, revoking access and pulling logs
• Provide evidence for IT controls during audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Automate repetitive work including onboarding, offboarding, access reviews and evidence collection using scripts and tooling
• Write and maintain documentation for IT procedures
• Participate in IT on-call rotation

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT, systems engineering or IT security
• Hands-on admin experience with an enterprise identity provider, an MDM and endpoint security tools
• Strong macOS management skills: configuration profiles, privacy preferences and system extension policies
• Ability to write Python or Bash to automate work
• Experience supporting a SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar compliance audit
• Understanding that crypto companies face frequent phishing and social engineering attacks, and ability to design systems with that threat model in mind
• Clear technical documentation writing skills
• Preference for simple, usable setups over complex ones that people work around
• Comfort being part of an on-call rotation
