Senior Lead Architect - Blockchain (Kinexys)

As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Kinexys team, you design and implement innovative blockchain solutions while working directly with engineering teams and writing production-quality code. What you'll do

• Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions, working directly with engineering teams and writing production-quality code as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding best practices in architecture, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, compliance standards, and security best practices.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, proactively addressing dependencies and integration points with other teams and platforms.
• Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies to improve delivery speed and reliability.
• Contribute to the evaluation, integration, and implementation of public blockchain technologies and protocols.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

What you bring

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong experience designing and building technology solutions, with a focus on hands-on architecture and implementation.
• Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
• Practical experience with cloud-native platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Demonstrated experience working with public blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Solana, or Hyperledger.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.

Nice to have

• Experience working at the code level with languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• Experience integrating blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems.
