As a Senior Software Engineer for Crypto & Cross Domain Solutions at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you'll join a cross-functional team responsible for designing, developing, and testing software related to TACDS products in the Space, Cyber, and Intelligence business area.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and test software for TACDS products in the Crypto & Cross Domain Solutions group
- Lead the software development life cycle with creative problem-solving and technical expertise
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges
- Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or Rust
- Linux application development experience
- Experience with Git and GitLab
- Experience with BASH, sed, and awk
- Excellent communication skills and ability to secure buy-in on technical concepts and ideas
Nice to have
- Experience with SELinux
- Experience with Embedded Linux, VxWorks, RTOS, CDS, ESXi, or YOCTO
- Interest in identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

- Salary range: USD $149,831 - $159,000 per year
