Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Binance.US, you join the Engineering team reporting to the DevOps Lead. You support the reliability, scalability, and observability of systems that power a licensed and regulated U.S. cryptocurrency exchange. You work with development and operations teams to design monitoring solutions, ensure optimal system performance, and maintain high uptime.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain observability strategies for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent instrumentation across services.
• Support adoption of observability best practices and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Monitor production systems and diagnose performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in production support, including incident response and on-call rotation using PagerDuty.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Contribute to automation and tooling to reduce manual operational work.
• Support post-incident reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
