Smart Contract Lead

As a Smart Contract Lead at ether.fi, you will design, develop, and deploy secure, efficient smart contracts on Ethereum and Layer 2 blockchains. You join a lean, agile team of 25+ building a decentralized finance platform with over $8B in assets under management, offering liquid staking, automated yield strategies, and crypto-native payment solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum and L2 blockchains, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and optimized for gas consumption
• Conduct thorough testing and auditing of smart contracts using tools such as Forge to ensure security and functionality
• Stay informed of the latest developments in Ethereum, Solidity, and blockchain technology to continually improve contract efficiency and security
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices for smart contract development, including security measures, coding standards, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high-quality code standards
• Assist in the development and deployment of blockchain infrastructure

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in cryptographic principles and blockchain technology
• Proficiency in Solidity with a solid portfolio of deployed smart contracts and DApps
• Proficiency in smart contract security practices and knowledge of common vulnerabilities
• Proficiency in cryptography techniques such as zero-knowledge proofs and roll-ups
• Experience with Ethereum development tools such as Foundry and Hardhat
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members

Nice to have

• An advanced degree in a related field
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools for blockchain development
