Software Engineer, Backend (Trading)

As a Software Engineer, Backend (Trading) at Phantom, you'll design and implement the APIs, data pipelines, and services that power trading experiences for tens of millions of users worldwide. You'll focus on implementing and aggregating new trading protocols, aggregators, and trade types, while experimenting with new trading surfaces and user segments. Your work will directly shape how users discover, execute, and interact with digital asset trades across multiple blockchains.

What you'll do

• Own features on Phantom's web platforms, including the Extension and website
• Lead initiatives to add support for new blockchains and launch complementary products or infrastructure
• Interface directly with end-users and developers building on Phantom to collect feedback and support their needs
• Work with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and raising the bar with each new hire

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience
• A demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
• English language proficiency
