Software Engineer - Blockchain

As a Software Engineer at Sahar, you will develop an innovative multi-blockchain data analysis SaaS product within the Engineering team. Working closely with Product, QA, and DevOps, you will balance building new features with consolidating the existing codebase across the full stack: backend, frontend, and infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications and microservices, identifying appropriate architectures and managing the entire development cycle from technical design to implementation
• Integrate AI tools into your workflows, including using IDE assistants and participating in the design of agentic workflows
• Contribute to infrastructure setup and optimization (CI, Docker, Kubernetes) alongside the DevOps team, handling configuration, deployment, monitoring, and management of development and production environments

What you bring

• Proficiency in Python plus at least one other language (TypeScript, Go, Rust, Scala, Java, etc.)
• Strong frontend skills: JavaScript, browser APIs, and experience with a framework such as React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, or Solid
• Strong backend skills: proven experience with a backend technology such as Django, FastAPI, Fastify, Nest.js, Express, or Spring; comfortable with relational databases and REST APIs
• Knowledge of MVC, Clean, and Hexagonal Architecture patterns
• Practical Docker experience
• Rigorous version control with Git and continuous deployment practices
• Active use of an AI assistant in your IDE, with understanding of prompt and harness engineering
• Fluent written English (documentation, libraries, and part of communication are in English)
• Several years of experience as a Software Engineer in demanding technical environments
• Strong grasp of programming fundamentals: best practices, performance, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Familiarity with the blockchain and crypto ecosystem (Bitcoin, EVM, Solana)
• Clear documentation skills
• Comfort with continuous deployment methodologies
• Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for ambitious technical challenges

Nice to have

• Significant hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Good understanding of on-chain data models and smart contracts
• Open-source contributions, hackathon participation, or side projects demonstrating continuous technical growth

• Salary of 60,000 to 75,000 EUR gross annually, positioned within the range based on your experience level
