Software Engineer Intern

As a Software Engineer Intern at Coinbase, you join a team building new features for products like Coinbase.com, Custody, and Wallet while supporting APAC expansion initiatives. You will solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems and help build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone globally across web, iOS, and Android. This is a 12-week summer 2027 internship from May 17 through August 6, requiring in-person work at the Singapore office three days per week.

What you'll do

• Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
• Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
• Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems

What you bring

• Experience in any object-oriented programming language, whether from a class, personal projects, or previous work
• The ability to think about how people interact with products and build experiences that users love
• Self-motivation and commitment to personal growth
• A positive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

Nice to have

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, or Rails
• Experience developing React Native mobile apps

• Hourly rate of $25 SGD
