Software Engineer - Trading Core Team

As a Software Engineer on the Trading Core Team at Wincent, you build lightning-fast systems that power our next-generation crypto trading platform. You work at the center of our technology, pulling live data from 10+ crypto exchanges and crafting ultra-reliable execution engines that handle complex exchange protocols with precision and zero downtime. Every line of code you write in Rust keeps our trading edge razor-sharp.

What you'll do

• Build high-performance systems to fetch data from multiple crypto exchanges with minimal latency, ensuring access to the most up-to-date market information
• Own order entry across every venue Wincent trades by employing state-of-the-art techniques to get model outputs to matching engines as quickly as possible in the form of create, cancel, and amend order requests
• Normalise and standardise raw data from different exchanges to create a consistent and uniform format
• Monitor the live system's performance and correctness as part of on-call rotation

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in system design, performance tuning, and low-level optimization
• Strong algorithmic thinking and the ability to capture and analyze data
• A deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
• Ownership and problem-solving mindset, managing your own agenda and delivering results with autonomy
• Collaborative spirit with strong teamwork and communication skills
• A transparent, direct communication style; you challenge decisions when you disagree and commit fully once a decision is final

What we offer

• Competitive, above-market base salary of 80,000 - 150,000 EUR per year, tailored to your expertise and seniority
