Strategic Operations Lead – Web3, Stablecoins & Payments

As a Strategic Operations Lead for Web3, Stablecoins & Payments at Atlaz, you will take ownership of strategic initiatives involving digital assets, payment infrastructure and trade finance. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you identify underlying business or operational problems, evaluate different approaches, recommend practical solutions, and personally drive implementation. You will work across Strategy, Product, Engineering, Operations and Compliance, applying stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure and digital payment rails to real-world B2B financial workflows.

What you'll do

• Own strategic initiatives from problem definition through analysis, recommendation, implementation and launch
• Structure ambiguous business or operational problems and determine what information you need to evaluate them
• Assess commercial, operational, regulatory and technical approaches before recommending a solution
• Translate business requirements into product requirements, payment workflows and practical solution designs
• Evaluate how stablecoins, blockchain and digital payment infrastructure can be applied across B2B payment, settlement and trade-finance workflows, including payment rails, wallets, custody, on/off ramps, liquidity, blockchain networks, APIs and third-party integrations
• Work directly with Product and Engineering to evaluate feasibility, integration requirements and implementation trade-offs
• Collaborate with Operations and Compliance to ensure proposed solutions operate within practical and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate external technology, payment or infrastructure providers where required
• Challenge assumptions and determine whether proposed technology genuinely addresses the underlying business need
• Present clear recommendations, trade-offs and progress updates to senior stakeholders
• Drive execution personally rather than relying on a separate team to take initiatives forward

What you bring

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fintech, payments, digital assets/Web3, product management, product strategy, strategic operations, product operations or related areas
• Hands-on professional exposure to crypto, stablecoins, digital payments or digital-asset infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to work on problems where the solution was not initially defined
• Strong experience analysing problems, evaluating alternatives and making clear recommendations
• Experience taking products or initiatives from early-stage requirements through implementation and launch
• Strong understanding of payment and settlement workflows
• Experience in B2B, enterprise or institutional environments
• Experience translating business requirements into product requirements, workflows or solution designs
• Comfort working directly across Product, Engineering, Operations and Compliance
• Sufficient technical understanding to discuss APIs, integrations, blockchain networks, wallets, custody and payment infrastructure with technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on individual contributor capacity
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills

Nice to have

• Experience in trade finance or supply-chain finance
• Experience leading zero-to-one product, venture or strategic initiative development
