Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at FalconX, you develop tooling and systems that power an institutional-grade digital asset prime brokerage platform. You join a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, traders, quants, and operations specialists to build next-generation trading infrastructure serving hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, banks, and other institutions globally.

What you'll do

• Develop tooling and systems to support trading activities, including pricing enhancements for derivatives, execution algorithms, infrastructure, and trading product development
• Collaborate across design, product management, traders, quants, and trade operations teams
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
• Contribute to innovative products within the industry, such as correlation exotics and missing data volatility pricing

What you bring

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python and preferably a low-level language and basics of a UI framework
• Familiarity with distributed systems
• Familiarity with derivative products or risk management frameworks
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach
• Ability to move quickly and adapt in a fast-moving environment
• Comfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development process

• Experience with exotic products
• Experience with numerical methods and optimization
• Experience with React
