Team Lead, Custody Operations (Night Shift)

As a Team Lead for Custody Operations at Fidelity Digital Assets, you oversee the day-to-day execution of digital asset custody operations during overnight hours. You serve as the first level of leadership for a team of custody operations associates, ensuring accurate processing of digital asset transactions, reconciliations, asset movements, and operational controls. You maintain operational stability, manage workflow priorities, resolve escalations, and support a strong risk and control environment while delivering exceptional service aligned with Fidelity's commitment to security, compliance, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise a team of custody operations associates during night shift hours
• Oversee the accurate processing of digital asset transactions, reconciliations, and asset movements
• Manage workflow priorities and resolve operational escalations
• Maintain and strengthen the risk and control environment
• Support operational stability and excellence across 24x7 operations

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of operations experience within financial services, custody, brokerage, asset servicing, or digital assets
• Previous experience as a subject matter expert, senior associate, or team lead
• A strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, settlements, and asset movement processes
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience within digital asset, cryptocurrency, or blockchain-related operations
• Familiarity with institutional custody and digital asset servicing models
• An understanding of operational risk management and regulatory requirements
• Experience working within a 24x7 operational support model
• Continuous improvement, Lean, or process optimization experience
