Technical Recruiting Manager

As Technical Recruiting Manager at TRM Labs, you lead the team responsible for finding and closing exceptional technical talent: engineers, data scientists, security researchers, and applied AI professionals. You build a world-class technical recruiting function, raise the bar on every hire, and drive recruiting excellence across the organization.

What you'll do

• Manage and coach a team of technical recruiters, improving sourcing strategy, candidate experience, and closing execution.
• Oversee delivery of high-priority engineering and technical roles, stepping in on complex searches as needed.
• Partner closely with executives and hiring managers to calibrate, forecast, and adjust hiring plans.
• Build and scale technical recruiting capacity ahead of demand by forecasting hiring needs across R&D and translating them into your team's staffing plan.
• Optimize tools, processes, and systems to drive speed, precision, and data hygiene across the recruiting funnel.
• Build a culture of excellence, feedback, and continuous improvement within the recruiting team.

What you bring

• 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, including 4+ years managing high-growth teams.
• Proven ability to hire for complex technical roles in high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated success coaching recruiters and raising execution quality across a team.
• Strategic thinking with strong instincts for prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and problem-solving.
• Operational excellence with experience managing recruiting tools, dashboards, and workflows.
• Clear, concise communication skills, comfortable working with executives and distributed teams.
• Applied AI fluency: you are among the top 10 percent of operators in your function in how you apply AI to accelerate workflows, structure problems, improve output quality, and increase speed and leverage.

Nice to have

• SF Bay Area based, able to work in office up to 2 times per week as needed.

What we offer

• Base salary range of $200,000-$220,000.
• Eligibility to participate in TRM's equity plan.
• Fully remote team with 4+ hour overlap with PST; flexibility and autonomy with accountability.
