Trader, Market Making

As a Trader on the Market Making desk at Blockchain.com, you run, analyse and improve automated liquidity strategies while working closely with clients to enhance the enterprise value of the desk. You sit at the intersection of trading, quantitative research and commercials, blending strong communication with hands-on coding ability in Python, Rust and/or SQL.

What you'll do

• Work with experienced, highly successful traders to manage risk and ideate trading strategies across DeFi, market making and yield strategies
• Work closely with trading and sales to drive commercials, bring in new business, interact with clients and source new deal flow
• Configure and tune strategy parameters in response to changing market conditions while developing world-class market-making strategies
• Enhance the enterprise value of the desk by building infrastructure and creating initiatives that serve clients better

What you bring

• 2-5 years of experience in market making, quantitative trading, electronic trading or working for an institutional desk (crypto preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial markets, DeFi, algorithmic trading and crypto token generation events and listing structures
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, AI tooling and/or SQL
• A commercially aware mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, intense environment
