Trading Operations Specialist

As a Trading Operations Specialist at PrimeXBT, you monitor trading platforms and market conditions in real time, ensuring execution quality, managing liquidity and risk, and responding to incidents across global market hours. You work directly with trading systems, liquidity providers, and technical teams to keep operations running smoothly and resolve issues quickly.

What you'll do

• Monitor trading platforms to ensure uptime and execution quality
• Oversee trade flow, execution, and pricing in real time
• Identify and escalate execution issues, slippage anomalies, or pricing gaps
• Manage trading sessions, market openings and closings, and instrument configurations
• Monitor liquidity feeds and ensure competitive spreads and depth
• Liaise with liquidity providers to resolve pricing or execution issues
• Analyze spread widening, latency, and execution quality, including markouts and slippage
• Assist in optimizing routing and aggregation settings
• Monitor client positions, exposure, and overall risk in real time
• Support hedging strategies and execution of risk mitigation actions
• Identify unusual trading activity or potential abuse such as arbitrage or latency exploitation
• Handle trade adjustments, corrections, and dispute investigations
• Ensure accuracy of trade records and reconciliation
• Act as first responder for trading-related incidents
• Investigate platform issues, outages, or abnormal market behavior
• Coordinate with tech teams and external providers to resolve issues quickly

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience in trading operations, dealing desk, or brokerage environment
• Strong understanding of FX, CFDs, or crypto markets
• Familiarity with trading platforms
• Python scripting skills to write and maintain automation scripts for monitoring, data extraction, reconciliation, and routine operational tasks
• SQL skills to write queries including joins, aggregations, and window functions against trading and client databases for investigation, reporting, and anomaly detection
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making ability
• Excellent communication skills
