Trust Wallet Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer at Trust Wallet, you translate Figma designs into polished, production-quality interfaces using React Native. You sit at the intersection of design and engineering, collaborating closely with product designers and engineers to build interfaces for a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet used by more than 200 million people worldwide.

What you'll do

• Build production-quality UI components and interactions in React Native
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate code
• Collaborate with product designers to prototype and refine interactions
• Maintain and improve the design system and component library
• Bridge design and engineering by identifying technical feasibility issues early
• Improve UI performance, animations, and micro-interactions
• Contribute to architecture decisions on UI flexibility, theming, and scalability
• Improve design-to-development workflows, including Figma-to-code handoff and design tokens

What you bring

• 3-5+ years of experience in frontend or UI engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native
• Experience shipping polished, consumer-facing mobile products
• Experience building and maintaining component or design systems
• A strong eye for design quality across typography, spacing, motion, and interaction details
• Comfort working in Figma or similar design tools
• Strong communication skills across design and engineering teams

Nice to have

• Experience with design tokens and theming systems
• Cross-platform component libraries
• React Native animation libraries such as Reanimated or Lottie
• Background in fintech, crypto, or Web3
• Experience with high-growth consumer applications
• Interest in Web3 and cryptocurrency products
