User Acquisition Lead

As User Acquisition Lead at Polymarket, you own the strategy and execution for bringing new users onto the world's largest prediction market platform. You manage a small but growing team of channel specialists and work closely with product, data, and brand to build acquisition programs that scale. Your mandate is straightforward: grow the number of people who sign up, deposit, and trade on Polymarket, owning the full funnel from first impression to first trade. The prediction market category is still being defined, and you'll figure out how to explain a new kind of product to a broad audience while finding high-intent users ready to trade today.

What you'll do

• Own the user acquisition strategy across paid social, paid search, influencer, referral, and emerging channels, setting priorities and allocating budget based on performance data.
• Manage and develop a team of channel managers, running weekly reviews, setting clear goals, and making sure work moves at the right pace and quality.
• Build and maintain a testing roadmap across creative, audience, landing page, and offer variables, turning experiment results into durable channel improvements.
• Partner with the data team to define acquisition metrics, build reporting infrastructure, and ensure the team makes decisions based on accurate attribution.
• Work with brand and creative to produce ad content that explains Polymarket clearly and converts, giving specific, actionable feedback on what is and isn't working.
• Identify and develop non-traditional acquisition channels suited to Polymarket's regulatory environment and user base, including media partnerships, community programs, and event-based activations.
• Report acquisition performance to leadership on a regular cadence, translating channel data into clear business implications and concrete next steps.

What you bring

• 8 or more years of experience in user acquisition or performance marketing, with at least 2 years managing a team directly.
• A demonstrated track record of scaling paid acquisition programs with measurable CAC and LTV outcomes, not just impressions or clicks.
• Deep hands-on experience with at least two of the following: paid social, paid search, and programmatic advertising.
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with SQL or the ability to work closely with analysts to pull and interpret data without waiting on others.
• Experience marketing a financial product, consumer app, or other category where trust and explanation are part of the conversion challenge.
• A clear, direct communication style. You can write a tight brief, run a productive review meeting, and tell leadership something they don't want to hear.

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto, fintech, or another regulated consumer category where standard ad channels have restrictions.
• Familiarity with prediction markets, sports betting, or other probability-based products and their user bases.
• Experience building an acquisition function from early stage, including standing up tooling, attribution models, and team processes.
