Web3 Capital & Portfolio Specialist

As a Web3 Capital & Portfolio Specialist at Web 3.0 Solutions, you support digital-asset research, portfolio strategy, capital allocation, and investment intelligence across the Web3 ecosystem. You combine cryptocurrency market analysis, portfolio construction, blockchain research, risk management, and capital strategy, evaluating digital assets, blockchain projects, protocols, DeFi ecosystems, tokenized assets, and emerging Web3 opportunities.

What you'll do

• Research cryptocurrencies, digital assets, blockchain projects, protocols, and emerging Web3 investment opportunities
• Analyze Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, tokenized assets, and emerging blockchain markets
• Develop portfolio strategy and capital allocation frameworks for digital-asset opportunities
• Evaluate portfolio construction, diversification, position sizing, liquidity, volatility, and exposure
• Conduct fundamental, quantitative, technical, and on-chain research across digital assets
• Analyze tokenomics, governance, protocol activity, ecosystem growth, adoption, and competitive positioning
• Monitor market structure, trading volumes, capital flows, liquidity conditions, and market cycles
• Evaluate portfolio performance, drawdowns, concentration, correlations, and risk exposure
• Research DeFi protocols, decentralized exchanges, staking ecosystems, liquidity programs, and Web3 financial infrastructure
• Identify emerging opportunities across blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, decentralized finance, and digital financial markets
• Conduct due diligence on blockchain companies, protocols, tokens, and Web3 ecosystems
• Develop investment theses, portfolio research, opportunity assessments, and strategic reports
• Build portfolio dashboards, research databases, market watchlists, and opportunity pipelines
• Track on-chain activity, wallet behavior, token movements, protocol metrics, and other blockchain indicators
• Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, technological, and industry developments affecting digital assets
• Assess market, liquidity, protocol, smart-contract, counterparty, custody, and operational risks
• Translate complex blockchain and financial-market information into clear portfolio and capital strategy insights
• Collaborate with technical, product, research, and strategy teams on Web3 initiatives

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio strategy, financial markets, fintech, venture capital, asset management, crypto, or blockchain
• A strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 markets
• Knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, and capital strategy
• Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, stablecoins, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, and tokenization
• Understanding of tokenomics, governance, liquidity, volatility, and digital-asset risk
• Experience conducting financial, fundamental, quantitative, or on-chain research
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics platforms, crypto market-data tools, or portfolio-management systems
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Ability to evaluate complex technical, financial, and market information
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• A genuine interest in Web3, blockchain infrastructure, cryptocurrency markets, and decentralized technologies

• Python, SQL, or quantitative-analysis experience

What we offer

• Salary range of $130,000-$150,000 USD per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and role scope
