Web3 Hedge Fund Analyst

As a Web3 Hedge Fund Analyst at Stathis Strategies, you support investment research, portfolio strategy, and risk analysis across cryptocurrency markets and blockchain-based assets. You combine traditional hedge fund research methods with deep understanding of Web3, DeFi, and digital-asset market structure to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk-adjusted returns in volatile and rapidly evolving crypto markets.

What you'll do

• Research crypto markets, blockchain projects, DeFi protocols, and digital assets
• Analyze Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and emerging Web3 investment opportunities
• Evaluate hedge fund strategies, portfolio allocations, and hedging approaches
• Monitor volatility, liquidity, leverage, correlations, and portfolio drawdowns
• Conduct fundamental, quantitative, and on-chain market research
• Assess tokenomics, project fundamentals, valuations, and investment risks
• Track market cycles, capital flows, derivatives activity, and institutional sentiment
• Prepare investment memos, performance reports, and research dashboards
• Identify emerging opportunities and risks across digital-asset markets
• Collaborate with investment, portfolio, and research teams

What you bring

• 2+ years in investment research, hedge funds, asset management, trading, or financial markets
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and digital-asset markets
• Knowledge of portfolio construction, hedging, and risk management
• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, blockchain protocols, and crypto derivatives
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial research skills
• Experience with Excel or financial modeling
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field preferred

Nice to have

• Python or SQL programming experience
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics and crypto research tools

What we offer

• Salary of SGD110,000 to SGD135,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
