Associate, Client Onboarding (Mumbai)

As an Associate, Client Onboarding at Galaxy Digital, you will play an active role in the account opening process from start to finish. You will review and process new account applications to successfully open accounts at banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and custodians on behalf of various Galaxy Digital entities. This role focuses on onboarding Galaxy to various institutions rather than onboarding clients to Galaxy.

What you'll do

• Review requirements and applications for new account openings across banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and custodians to support various Galaxy business lines
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as KYC, AML, and internal onboarding policies
• Liaise with internal stakeholders in sales, legal, compliance, and operations to resolve missing documentation and information needed to submit account opening applications to various institutions
• Accurately enter and maintain data in internal systems
• Monitor account opening requests to ensure timely processing and onboarding
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for greater efficiency
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all account opening activities

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in account opening, KYC, or AML
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding KYC
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter comfortable in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
• Strong appetite for problem-solving in a high-growth business

• Ability to manage multiple projects and functions
• Experience, knowledge, and interest in cryptocurrency
