Audit Senior, Dublin | Crypto & Digital Assets

As an Audit Senior at Hanami in Dublin, you'll lead crypto and digital asset audits for a financial services practice that's become the go-to team for blockchain clients under Ireland's new MiCA regulation. You'll work hand in hand with FS Audit Directors on complex engagements, building expertise in an emerging sector while growing your career on merit.

What you'll do

• Run crypto and digital asset audits from planning and fieldwork through to completion, under IFRS and FRS 102
• Test the existence, ownership and valuation of digital asset balances, including wallet confirmations and reconciling trades and holdings back to the ledger
• Identify key audit risks and work with IT audit specialists on custody and private key controls
• Review draft financial statements and disclosures, and present your findings to the Senior Manager and Directors
• Supervise associates, review their work and help them build crypto expertise

What you bring

• ACA, ACCA, CA or CPA qualification
• 4+ years of external audit experience with a Big Four or Top 10 firm
• Hands-on audit experience with crypto or blockchain clients, or Irish Asset Management and Funds
• A genuine curiosity about how the technology works, and the drive to understand new tokens and exchanges
• Confidence with clients and the ability to explain complex crypto balances in plain English
