As Chief Commercial Officer at WhiteBIT, you define and execute the UK commercial strategy for a global blockchain and fintech platform with over 8 million users. You lead the commercial launch following FCA registration, build institutional partnerships, and drive revenue growth while ensuring strict regulatory compliance under UK financial services rules.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the UK commercial strategy, growth objectives, partnership plan and go-to-market roadmap aligned with Board-approved business plan.
  • Develop target customer segments, acquisition channels, pricing assumptions and a measurable commercial pipeline.
  • Establish partnerships that support market access, customer acquisition and the company's planned product development.
  • Own commercial budgets, forecasts and performance reporting. Present results, assumptions and material risks to the UK CEO and Board.
  • Prepare commercial activity for launch following FCA registration and completion of required product and operational readiness work.
  • Work with Product, Operations and Finance to confirm that proposed customer journeys are supported by trading, custody, settlement, payments and customer service capabilities.
  • Work with Legal, the MLRO, Compliance and Risk teams before launching promotions, acquisition initiatives, new products or partnerships.
  • Support FCA engagement where commercial strategy, forecasts, the business model or future regulatory expansion are relevant.
  • Keep activity relating to the existing S21 product separate from White Tech Operations Limited's proposed activity. Any work on S21 opportunities must follow an approved arrangement with the appropriate legal and contracting entity.
  • Build and lead the commercial function as the Board approves additional hiring.
  • Establish clear ownership, reporting and performance standards within the team.
  • Contribute to effective executive decision-making while respecting the independent responsibilities of the MLRO, Compliance and Risk functions.

What you bring

  • Proven executive leadership experience as a CCO, CEO, Managing Director, COO or equivalent in regulated financial services, digital assets, custody or exchange infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated success in developing commercial strategy, revenue, institutional partnerships and customer acquisition, with measurable responsibility for budgets and commercial results.
  • Experience building or scaling a regulated business through launch, licensing, regulatory expansion or significant organisational growth.
  • Strong understanding of the UK regulatory environment, including AML/CFT, financial promotions, customer protection, governance and senior management accountability.
  • Working knowledge of digital asset trading, custody, wallet governance, settlement flows and associated operational risks. You must be able to explain the end-to-end business model clearly.
  • Sound financial judgement, including P&L oversight, budgeting, forecasting, unit economics and capital allocation.
  • Experience working within Board governance structures, presenting strategic plans and risks, and delivering against Board-approved objectives.
  • Ability to engage credibly with the FCA, legal advisers, institutional partners, shareholders and the WhiteBIT Group.
  • Proven ability to build teams and promote a culture of integrity, accountability and customer-focused decision-making.
  • Good repute, honesty and integrity, with the ability to satisfy the checks applicable to this appointment and any future regulated role.
  • Based in the United Kingdom and fluent in professional English.
  • A completed degree in Finance, Law, Compliance, Management or Business, or equivalent relevant executive experience.

Nice to have

  • Previous FCA engagement or CEO experience.
  • SMF1 or SMF3 approval. Candidates without previous SMF approval must still demonstrate credible potential to meet the requirements of a future CEO appointment.

What we offer

  • 24 calendar days of paid leave, plus additional days off for national holidays.
  • Modern equipment and comfortable working conditions.
