Chief Financial Officer / Financial Domain Expert

As Chief Financial Officer and Financial Domain Expert at Splash Software, you help define, design, and validate the financial systems and products developed by our software company. You bring senior-level financial expertise across crypto, investment management, ETFs, trading, staking, treasury, and digital asset markets. Working closely with Product Managers, Software Architects, Engineers, Data teams, and UX teams, you translate complex financial concepts into robust, scalable, institution-grade software systems.

What you'll do

• Shape product strategy and financial architecture for crypto and investment products
• Define business logic, workflows, controls, and calculations for trading, derivatives, OTC, investment management, and portfolio systems
• Design financial data models, operational controls, and reconciliation processes
• Guide the engineering and product teams in translating financial requirements into software systems for staking, DeFi, yield products, treasury, and liquidity management
• Ensure domain accuracy across valuation, NAV, P&L, margin, collateral, risk management, and blockchain custody workflows
• Advise on accounting, ledger, fund operations, and financial reporting requirements for ETFs, ETPs, and institutional products

What you bring

• 10+ years of experience in financial markets, investment management, asset management, trading, treasury, fintech, banking, digital assets, or related sectors
• Senior-level financial leadership experience such as CFO, CIO, Finance Director, Head of Investments, Head of Treasury, Head of Trading, or Financial Product Director
• Strong hands-on knowledge of financial systems and institutional financial workflows
• Significant experience with crypto or digital assets
• Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio management, and trading operations
• Experience with financial reporting, valuation, reconciliation, accounting, or fund operations
• Ability to translate financial processes into clear software requirements, workflows, rules, and data models
• Strong ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, and Data teams
