Compliance Analyst (Corporate Enhanced Due Diligence)

As a Compliance Analyst for Corporate Enhanced Due Diligence at Binance, you support the compliance function of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and registered users. You conduct detailed EDD reviews, assess high-risk customer activity, and help maintain the compliance standards that protect Binance's 300+ million users across 100+ countries.

What you'll do

• Complete Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers
• Assess high-risk customer transaction activity to ensure it aligns with the nature of their business
• Conduct risk assessments on new and existing customers
• Lead projects related to EDD enhancements
• Stay current on global EDD standards such as FATF and local requirements in regions where the company operates
• Provide AML/CFT subject matter expertise to colleagues and stakeholders
• Manage high-risk customer escalations from first-line defence teams and other business units
• Draft documentation including policies, procedures, guidance documents, training materials, and risk assessments
• Train other employees on compliance processes and requirements

What you bring

• 3+ years of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) experience
• An industry-leading certification such as ACAM or ACFCS
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience with global Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and EDD requirements
• A deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks
• Knowledge of global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto-related business activities
• Experience navigating complex beneficial ownership structures
• Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills
