Compliance Specialist (MiFID / Crypto)

Change is looking for a hands-on Compliance Specialist to strengthen its compliance team and support daily compliance work within its MiFID and MiCA activities. Founded in 2010 and a MiFID II investment firm since 2015, Change serves approximately 120,000 registered users across Europe and is one of the first CASPs authorized in the Netherlands under MiCA. You'll join a small, experienced team with a practical culture where compliance is integral to how the company is built, not a back-office function.

What you'll do

• Support the practical implementation of MiFID II and IFR/IFD requirements in daily operations
• Help maintain AML/CFT and transaction monitoring processes
• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into internal processes and procedures
• Support ongoing supervision and related activities
• Conduct compliance assessments of product changes and new features before launch
• Communicate with the AFM and DNB, including preparing responses to regulatory information requests
• Monitor and ensure internal policies and procedures are followed in practice
• Support maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's compliance framework
• Flag potential compliance issues and escalate them as needed to senior team members
• Track relevant regulatory developments and support their implementation
• Work closely with other teams across the organization

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience in compliance, financial services, legal, risk, or a comparable field
• Basic knowledge of MiFID II and AML/CFT with motivation to develop this knowledge further
• The ability to understand legal and regulatory requirements and help translate them into daily practice
• You work accurately and in a structured manner
• You are eager to learn and willing to take responsibility for your work
• Fluent Dutch and English

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of or interest in MiCA and crypto-related regulations
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or another fast-changing regulated environment
• Experience in an international or fast-growing organization
