Crypto Associate Relationship Manager - Electronic Trading

As an Associate Relationship Manager for electronic trading at DRW's Cumberland crypto team, you'll operate at the heart of a fast-paced, volatile market, delivering seamless 24/7 coverage to institutional counterparties around the world. You'll combine market execution skills with relationship-building expertise to provide global counterparties with an exceptional trading experience in both spot and derivatives markets, collaborating with leading experts and innovators in crypto.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day counterparty-facing operations of the electronic platform, including counterparty configuration, entitlements, limit setups, and controls
• Analyze counterparty flow, hit rates, and platform performance to identify opportunities to improve win rates, revenue capture, and flow quality; participate in commercial discussions with counterparties on pricing, activity, and performance
• Gather and disseminate relevant counterparty and market color and feedback
• Collaborate with development teams to promote future product development
• Act as primary escalation point for counterparties on electronic trading issues, taking ownership of inquiries and working with Onboarding, Operations, and Treasury teams to deliver fast, effective resolution
• Coordinate with traders and relationship managers in other regions to provide seamless time-zone transitions and consistent, high-quality service
• Partner with Senior Relationship Managers to develop tailored solutions for counterparty needs, including deck construction and presentation material
• Generate and share original cross-market macro and micro insights (spot and options) internally and externally

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience in institutional client coverage, sales, or relationship management, with experience managing trading relationships and discussions
• Knowledge and familiarity of electronic trading systems and workflows, including FIX and API protocols
• Experience working with vendors, OEM platforms, and trading software
• Ability to proactively identify issues and address them in a real-time trading environment
• Passion for crypto and understanding of digital asset market structure
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of urgency
• Basic understanding of options and forward strategies
• Technical proficiency in Python and Java; Git, SQL, and Linux familiarity is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with strong PowerPoint proficiency
• English fluency required; additional languages are a strong plus
