As a Crypto Payments Product Manager at Guild Mortgage Company, you lead the development and management of innovative cryptocurrency payment solutions. You drive the product strategy, oversee cross-functional teams, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable crypto payment platforms.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the product strategy for crypto payment solutions, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends
• Lead requirements gathering, user story creation, and wireframing using tools like Balsamiq to ensure clear communication of product features
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop APIs, integrate blockchain protocols, and ensure system security and compliance
• Manage the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including planning, development, testing including user acceptance testing, and deployment of crypto payment products
• Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall, along with tools like Jira, VersionOne, and TFS to coordinate project timelines and deliverables
• Conduct data analytics using SQL, Looker, and other BI tools to inform data-driven decision making and optimize product performance
• Facilitate stakeholder coordination across business units, legal teams, compliance officers, and external partners to ensure alignment on product development goals
• Oversee cross-functional teams in software development projects involving databases, IT infrastructure, mobile applications (Android and iOS), and front-end technologies like HTML
• Develop test cases for quality assurance processes and oversee user acceptance testing to validate product functionality before launch
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including wireframes, UML diagrams, system specifications, and requirements design

What you bring

• Proven experience managing crypto or digital payments products within a fintech or blockchain environment
• Strong background in agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe, and familiarity with project management software like Jira or VersionOne
• Extensive knowledge of APIs integration, blockchain protocols such as Ethereum or Bitcoin, SQL databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical product cross-functional teams through all phases of product development from conception to launch
• Skilled in stakeholder management with excellent communication skills; capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business language
• Experience working with mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, and understanding of UI/UX design principles using wireframing tools like Balsamiq
• Familiarity with IT governance standards, SDLC processes including Waterfall, Agile planning frameworks such as Scrum, and project management methodologies such as SAFe
• Strong analysis skills with a focus on data analytics using SQL queries and BI tools like Looker for strategic decision making
