Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Comblack, you'll build a new organizational capability from the ground up, focusing on digital asset and cryptocurrency analytics, blockchain data research, and advanced AI-driven solutions. This role combines Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Data Engineering, working closely with investigation and risk management teams.

What you'll do

• Establish and develop a new organizational capability for cryptocurrency and digital asset analytics
• Analyze complex blockchain transactions, digital asset data, and OSINT sources
• Design, develop, and implement Machine Learning and Generative AI models
• Use Python and SQL to analyze large, complex datasets and develop data-driven solutions
• Build Data Engineering pipelines for data collection, processing, integration, and analysis
• Collaborate with investigation and risk management teams to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential risks

What you bring

• At least 3 years of experience in data-related roles, including at least 1 year as a Data Scientist
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data analysis and development
• Hands-on experience developing Machine Learning models and working on Generative AI projects
• Experience in Data Engineering, including building data collection, processing, and integration pipelines
• Strong analytical skills, independent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to build solutions from scratch
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, transaction analysis, blockchain analytics tools, OSINT, or import/export domains
