Deputy General Counsel, Web3 Products

As Deputy General Counsel for Web3 Products at OKX, you provide legal counsel and support to internal stakeholders across new products, features, and marketing initiatives in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You work across multiple jurisdictions, assess risk in both regulated and unregulated environments, and help shape the legal strategy for OKX's Web3 offerings including OKX Wallet, dApps, and related platforms.

What you'll do

• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders for new products, new features to existing products, marketing materials of Web3 products, and changes in applicable regulatory environments
• Draft, maintain, review, and negotiate a wide range of documents, including commercial agreements, internal policies, terms of service, legal disclaimers, and other templates for business teams
• Liaise with and manage external counsel whenever required
• Monitor and advise on legal and compliance developments, especially in the US, and their impact on the Web3 business
• Maintain and brief internal stakeholders on standard operating processes owned by the Web3 Products legal team
• Provide general support to Web3 business teams

What you bring

• Qualified lawyer with 8-15 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with experience in blockchain and decentralised Web3 products and services, including token projects, dApps, and aggregator platforms
• U.S. Bar admission (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with product management and software development workflows
• Sound judgment on business practices, internal and external stakeholder relationship management, and reputational risk
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and with excellent drafting and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage stakeholders in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
