Director, Visa Crypto Partnerships

As Director of Visa Crypto Partnerships, you will join the Sales, Partnerships, and Go-To-Market team within Visa's Crypto organization. You are responsible for managing existing global strategic partnerships with exchanges, wallets, and payments infrastructure providers, while identifying and forming new partnerships to enhance Visa's crypto capabilities. This role requires an experienced partnerships professional who can identify potential deals, develop tactics, and work cross-functionally to bring opportunities to closed deals and revenue.

What you'll do

• Manage existing global, strategic partnerships with exchanges, wallets, and payments infrastructure providers
• Execute commercial and strategic deals and bring new capabilities and products to market with partners
• Help shape Go-To-Market strategy and execution for Visa Crypto solutions at a global level, working closely with regional counterparts on go-to-market and client activities
• Work internally and cross-functionally on new sourcing and pilot partnership opportunities, and find ways to streamline new partnership activities and operations

What you bring

• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 8 years with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or at least 3 years with a PhD
• Financial services, crypto, and/or payments industry experience
• High product acumen and solutions mindset
• Proven ability to form new partnerships and identify new sales opportunities in white space, demonstrating commercial creativity, negotiation skills, and instincts
• Strategic thinking and subject matter expertise in stablecoins and blockchain technology
• Teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead by influence and example
• Proven ability to partner, communicate, and manage across multiple disciplines and organizational groups
• Executive presence, strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver large-group presentations
• Ability to work within a complex and ambiguous environment, and to influence senior management

Nice to have

• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8 to 10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6 or more years with a PhD
• Proven record of implementing strategic initiatives, policies, and operational decisions
• Experience managing up and building executive-level communications
• Previous experience in an operating role at a startup or high-growth company

What we offer

• Estimated salary range of $179,000 to $287,000 USD per year (for US-based roles), which may include potential sales incentive payments
• Eligibility for bonus and equity
