Finance Manager (Onchain/RWA Ecosystem)

As a Finance Manager at a fast-growing Digital Assets company headquartered in the UAE, you will report directly to the CFO and oversee financial operations, reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role bridges institutional finance and onchain operations, requiring you to manage both traditional and digital asset complexity.

What you'll do

• Shape and execute the company's financial strategy across traditional and onchain operations, including long-range planning, capital allocation, treasury management for both fiat and digital assets, and enterprise risk management in an evolving regulatory landscape
• Own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycle, accounting for both institutional-grade reporting standards and the volatility and liquidity profile of digital asset holdings
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting at monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals that satisfies traditional stakeholders (investors, board, auditors) and the transparency expectations of onchain and DeFi counterparties
• Interpret financial and onchain performance data including AUM flows, yield performance, and protocol-level metrics to surface trends and opportunities, translating analysis into clear recommendations for leadership
• Build and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that satisfy both conventional regulatory frameworks (SEC, FCA, DFSA-type requirements) and emerging digital asset compliance standards including AML/KYC for onchain transactions, custody controls, and smart contract risk assessment
• Partner cross-functionally with product, compliance, and treasury teams to embed financial insight into decision-making across tokenized asset structuring, yield and pricing models, and cost optimisation on both fiat and crypto rails
• Serve as the primary contact for banks, auditors, regulators, and institutional custodians, maintaining strong relationships across both traditional finance and crypto-native counterparties while staying ahead of reporting obligations in a shifting regulatory environment
• Coach and grow a finance team fluent in both traditional accounting and onchain financial mechanics, building a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration
• Hold ultimate accountability for the finance function, balancing institutional-grade rigor with the agility needed to operate in onchain finance

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, ideally spanning both traditional institutional finance and digital assets or crypto-native environments (exchange, custodian, DeFi protocol, or digital asset fund background preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with working familiarity with onchain data sources, token treasury management, and the accounting treatment of digital assets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and onchain concepts for both traditional institutional stakeholders and crypto-native counterparties
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable making data-driven decisions across volatile, fast-moving digital asset markets alongside conventional financial data
• Ability to operate in a dual regulatory environment, navigating both traditional compliance frameworks and emerging digital asset and AML requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision in a fast-evolving operating environment

• Exposure to digital asset accounting standards or crypto-specific certifications
