Founding engineer - IOT / Blockchain

As a Founding Engineer at Delen, you'll be the first technical hire outside the founding team, working directly alongside the founder/CEO as a technical right hand. You'll embed yourself in day-to-day execution across embedded systems, blockchain infrastructure, and company strategy for a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) and Real World Assets (RWA) startup building the hardware and on-chain tools that connect physical-world devices and assets to blockchain networks.

What you'll do

• Work hands-on with embedded and edge hardware, building, configuring, and troubleshooting devices in the field
• Contribute blockchain and crypto-related technical work as the stack grows
• Handle basic networking and systems work to keep deployed hardware running reliably
• Work directly with the CEO on whatever the company needs each week: scoping new technical ideas, prepping for partner and client conversations, and helping evaluate new DePIN and RWA opportunities
• Join client and partner conversations to explain technical capabilities in plain language

What you bring

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT, or Linux-based hardware
• Comfort with Python and/or C for low-level device code
• Some exposure to blockchain and crypto concepts such as wallets, signatures, or smart contracts; genuine curiosity and some hands-on tinkering experience
• Working knowledge of Linux, basic networking, and command-line tools
• Clear communication skills, comfortable explaining technical work to non-technical people
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in an early-stage environment
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mangalore

• Raspberry Pi experience
• Go experience
• Exposure to zero-knowledge proofs
• Prior startup experience
• Personal projects built with Raspberry Pi or Arduino
