Front-End Engineer, Institutional

As a Front-End Engineer on Blockchain's Institutional team, you build sophisticated UIs and trading tools for institutional clients. Based in our London office, you work closely with traders to deliver high-performance, data-driven applications that power cryptocurrency access and transactions at scale.

What you'll do

• Build a new set of UIs for the institutional team with deep consideration for UX and performance
• Develop innovative visualizations of user portfolios and responsive UIs
• Work closely with traders through implementation to build optimized and efficient internal tools
• Write well-tested, reliable code for use by trading, operations, and support teams handling large amounts of data and live updates
• Collaborate proactively with team members to share knowledge and divide work efficiently

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience working with JavaScript and client-side web applications
• Experience building innovative data visualizations
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, NextJS, and Styled Components
• Experience with front-end architecture, testing, and state management solutions
• Experience interacting with crypto applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to rapid growth and a fast-evolving business environment
• A demonstrated commitment to integrity

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor to enhance productivity
