Frontend Engineer

As a Frontend Engineer at Suncrypto, you build high-performance user interfaces for a cryptocurrency exchange platform. You'll develop trading interfaces, dashboards, portfolio and wallet screens, real-time market data displays, order management systems, charts, and other customer-facing features. The work involves creating highly responsive applications with real-time WebSocket integrations, REST API connections, state management, and performance optimization.

What you'll do

• Develop modern, scalable, and responsive web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Build high-performance cryptocurrency trading interfaces and dashboards
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and WebSocket services
• Implement application state management using Redux or Redux Toolkit
• Develop reusable and maintainable React components
• Work with trading charts and real-time market data
• Optimize rendering performance and minimize unnecessary API requests and component re-renders
• Implement responsive UI across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Handle WebSocket connection lifecycle, reconnection, error handling, and real-time state synchronization
• Integrate third-party APIs and frontend libraries
• Work closely with backend engineers, designers, QA, and product teams
• Identify and resolve frontend performance and production issues
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code following frontend security and best practices

What you bring

• 2-4 years of professional experience in React.js or Next.js development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, component architecture, and state management
• Hands-on experience with Next.js
• Experience with Redux or Redux Toolkit
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs
• Strong understanding of WebSockets and real-time data
• Experience handling asynchronous data and real-time application state
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend development
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization
• Strong UI engineering and problem-solving skills
• Attention to UI/UX details
• Ability to build reusable and scalable frontend architecture
• Strong debugging skills
• Good communication and collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience building trading, fintech, banking, crypto, or financial applications
• Experience with cryptocurrency exchange or trading interfaces
• Experience with TradingView or other financial charting libraries
• Experience working with order books, candlestick charts, market data, and trading screens
• Experience optimizing applications with high-frequency WebSocket updates
• Understanding of SSR, SSG, ISR, and Next.js rendering strategies
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks
