Full Stack Engineer

As a Full-Stack Engineer at BlockSpaces, you build enterprise-grade software that connects businesses' accounting systems to the Lightning Network. You join a team dedicated to making Bitcoin cheap, fast, and simple to use for everyone, with a focus on front-end development.

What you'll do

• Work closely with a team of engineers to bridge the gap between the Lightning Network and traditional businesses
• Build, test, and ship enterprise-grade software for the Lightning Connect Platform
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in Lightning and apply them to the product
• Build and maintain the Nest.js API
• Integrate Lightning payment rails with traditional accounting software
• Build a component library for use in the application

What you bring

• Strong experience with Typescript, Nest.js, React, and CSS (styled-components)
• Experience building Lightning applications or contributing to Lightning open-source software
• Ability to build interfaces from design files
• Interest in learning the details of your customers' business operations
• The ability to adapt and adjust plans with changing circumstances
• Creative ambition to build and design
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Comfort working in an early-stage startup and working remotely
