What marketing roles in crypto pay
38 salaries · our own dataMost marketing roles in crypto pay between $122k and $254k, with a median of $190k.
As a Growth MarTech Senior Specialist at Crypto.com, you own the end-to-end marketing technology architecture that powers user acquisition and growth analytics. You bridge marketing, product, engineering, and data science to architect, implement, and optimize tracking systems, measurement frameworks, and data pipelines that drive informed growth decisions across web and mobile channels.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end web tracking architecture across Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), define Data Layer requirements for engineering teams, and ensure accurate conversion events are routed to ad platforms.
- Partner with engineering to implement, test, and maintain mobile app tracking across AppsFlyer and Firebase, including SDK events and Server-to-Server (S2S) events, and architect standardized event taxonomy.
- Take deep ownership of how ad platforms consume our data, working with User Acquisition channel owners to troubleshoot tracking bottlenecks, resolve platform-specific signal loss, and proactively enrich tracking signals such as passing backend LTV scores back to ad platforms.
- Lead comprehensive audits of the tracking and reporting stack to resolve data gaps, latency issues, and discrepancies across tracking tools, internal BI, and ad platforms, and establish automated QA monitoring to detect event drop-offs and tracking anomalies.
- Support the build of advanced measurement solutions across the attribution spectrum, including Last-Touch, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and Media Mix Modeling (MMM), partnering with Data Science and Engineering to ensure clean signal data feeds these models.
- Analyze user acquisition performance, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and user cohorts, translating insights into actionable strategies to scale high-performing channels.
- Support the design, implementation, and analysis of incrementality tests to measure the true causal impact of growth efforts and validate overall ROI.
- Partner with Data Engineering to manage growth data requests, ensuring event streams are clean, structured, and accurately mapped into growth data pipelines.
- Write complex SQL to mine large datasets, build custom tables, and execute high-velocity ad-hoc analysis.
- Build and maintain automated dashboards using Tableau and Databricks, and integrate AI Agents to streamline reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with Growth, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate complex marketing and analytics use cases into precise technical requirements and actionable project tickets.
- Create, scale, and maintain comprehensive internal documentation covering tracking architecture, event taxonomies, and growth data schemas.
What you bring
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of dedicated experience in MarTech tracking, growth analytics, and digital marketing data analysis.
- Deep, hands-on proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including the ability to define Data Layer requirements, route ad tracking signals, and debug network setups.
- Deep expertise in ad platform signals and mechanics, with hands-on experience solving platform-specific tracking challenges including Meta CAPI, AEM, Google conversion signals, event postbacks to DSPs and ad networks.
- Deep expertise in mobile app tracking, specifically with AppsFlyer and Firebase, including experience standardizing event taxonomies and overseeing SDK and Server-to-Server (S2S) event integrations.
- Understanding of advanced attribution frameworks such as Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and proven experience designing and executing incrementality tests including holdouts and conversion lift studies.
- Understanding of digital marketing economics, including user acquisition optimization, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), cohort analysis, and paid media strategies.
- Understanding of CDP/CRM tools such as Segment and Braze, and how they route data signals to downstream channels and systems.
- Understanding of privacy-centric tracking mechanisms such as Google Consent Mode and SKAdNetwork.
- Advanced SQL skills for mining large datasets, creating custom tables, and executing ad-hoc analysis, with mandatory hands-on experience using Databricks and Tableau.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex marketing and business needs into precise technical tickets for Engineering and Data teams.
- Strong organizational skills with experience building comprehensive internal technical documentation and managing multiple high-priority projects.
Nice to have
- Experience in Crypto, FinTech, or Technology sectors.
