Head of Finance Operations

As Head of Finance Operations at OKX, a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet, you lead global finance operations across 15 countries with a team of 30+ professionals. You own accounting, reporting, month-end close, financial controls, and regulatory reporting, while partnering with the regional C-suite on business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead global finance operations including accounting, reporting, month-end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, and local audit across 15 countries with accountability for quality, timeliness, and defensibility of all outputs
• Partner with the regional C-suite on business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A, providing financial analysis to support decision-making
• Own capital planning and investor relations, and manage external partnerships with financial dimensions
• Evaluate the financial impact of new products, new markets, and new licenses, including unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory costs, and downside scenarios
• Build internal controls and risk frameworks that work across digital-asset custody and movement as well as conventional banking flows, ensuring SOX readiness and compliance with global regulatory obligations
• Own external relationships with regulators, banking partners, and payment providers that determine what the business can and cannot do in each market
• Standardize global finance policies, reporting architecture, and close and consolidation processes
• Sit on leadership committees at global and local entity levels, including boards and governance bodies where required
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments

What you bring

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Deep technical foundation in IFRS and US GAAP, with CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting
• Expertise in financial regulations across various global jurisdictions such as NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, and FCA
• Proven experience with financial systems such as Oracle NetSuite and automation tools
• Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions and time zones
• Experience managing multi-currency operations and intercompany transactions

Nice to have

• An MBA or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working at a crypto exchange
• Passion for blockchain technology and the crypto space
