Head of Quantitative Research (Crypto)

As Head of Quantitative Research at Cicada Capital, you lead the development of trading strategies for CEX and DEX markets. You build and scale your own trading desk in-house, turning market opportunities into real profit and loss with support from dedicated engineering resources and trading capital.

What you'll do

• Research, code, test, and deploy trading strategies independently across CEX and DEX markets
• Build and scale your trading desk with full infrastructure and dedicated engineering support
• Identify market opportunities and develop actionable strategies backed by solid backtests or live trading results

What you bring

• At least one actionable trading strategy or idea with concrete backtests or live trading results
• 1+ years of experience in a quant fund or proprietary trading firm
• Strong Python and C++ skills
• Ability to independently research, code, test, and deploy strategies
