Head of Strategy

As Head of Strategy at Ellipsis Labs, you'll shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for Phoenix Perpetuals, the fastest-growing professional-grade perpetual futures protocol on Solana. Working directly with our co-founders and growth team, you'll own strategy and execution across traders, market makers, integrators, and channels. Phoenix has processed over $4 billion in trading volume and grows 20% month over month.

What you'll do

• Own growth strategy and execution for Phoenix across target user types (traders, market makers, integrators) and channels
• Deploy capital into scalable, sustainable, and measurable growth strategies, including marketing and incentives
• Raise the bar for operational rigor throughout the go-to-market organization

What you bring

• Demonstrated rigor in written and verbal communication
• Ability and desire to pick up context in a deeply technical domain where details matter
• Strong work ethic and high agency
• Bias toward reasoning from first principles
• Hands-on experience in a go-to-market function

Nice to have

• Experience in systematic trading, exchanges, and crypto
• Experience managing and measuring user acquisition and marketing budgets
• Familiarity with perpetual futures, derivatives, and on-chain trading
