IB & Volume Growth (Crypto)

As a Business Development Manager at Bullbit PERP DEX, you own and grow trading volume through a portfolio of Introducing Brokers (IBs), high-net-worth traders, and trading communities. This is a senior, ownership-level role where you bring existing traction in the market: an established book of traders, IBs, or communities you can activate. You will also help build out the BD function and may mentor junior BD hires.

What you'll do

• Recruit, onboard, and manage a portfolio of Introducing Brokers and affiliates, structuring commission and revenue-share deals that are fee-positive for the platform
• Identify and personally onboard high-net-worth traders and whales, negotiating VIP terms, fee tiers, and rebates
• Build and scale relationships with trading communities and signal groups, Telegram and Discord trading groups, copy-trade communities, and local trader networks, turning community leaders into de facto IBs who drive recurring group volume
• Own exchange-level KPIs including trading volume, open interest, maker/taker fee mix, liquidity depth, VIP tier structures, and referral/rebate economics, using these numbers to drive partnership strategy and decisions
• Structure and negotiate a range of deal types including revenue-share, fixed rebate, hybrid, token-based, and milestone-linked arrangements, and manage the full partnership lifecycle from outreach through long-term retention
• Build and manage the partner and IB pipeline, tracking funnel stages, reporting, and setting targets and structure for the BD team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Finance to design referral programs, trading competitions, and IB incentive structures
• Represent Bullbit at local industry events, AMAs, and community engagements when needed

What you bring

• 3+ years of BD/growth experience in crypto exchanges, perpetual DEXs, forex, or CFD brokerage, specifically in IB, affiliate, or volume-growth functions
• A demonstrable track record: specific IBs you have recruited, traders you have onboarded, or volume you have directly driven at a previous platform
• An existing, activatable network of real contacts among traders, IBs, or trading communities
• Working fluency in exchange economics: maker/taker fees, rebate structures, VIP tiering, and volume-based incentive design
• Strong negotiation instincts and comfort structuring milestone-based deals and walking away from bad terms
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team, or clear readiness to do so
• Professional English, written and spoken; Mandarin is a strong plus

Nice to have

• Prior experience specifically with perpetual DEXs or derivatives products
• Existing relationships with market makers, liquidity providers, or institutional trading desks
• End-to-end IB program experience from recruitment through compensation design to performance tracking
• Familiarity with Base or other EVM-compatible ecosystems
