As a Senior Product Manager at OG.com, you own how money and identity get into the platform: signup, KYC, fiat funding, payouts, and the entire funding experience. OG.com is a CFTC-regulated prediction market platform where users trade on real-world outcomes. Onboarding and funding are where prediction markets win or lose share of wallet, and your job is to make funded accounts fast and trustworthy without lowering the design bar.
What you'll do
- Own onboarding and funding end to end, from signup through KYC, deposit, and trade-ready account status. You make the call on where to trade friction for compliance.
- Own the funding product, including funding methods, payouts, limits, retries, and partner UX across ACH, cards, instant funding, and other U.S. clearing methods. Authorization and flow of funds are product decisions, not vendor tickets.
- Treat the money-in funnel as a growth surface by instrumenting drop-off, going after leaks, and sequencing work against conversion metrics.
- Hold the design bar on trust and money UX, ensuring clarity, hierarchy, and clean error states in signup, verification, and funding flows. Your feedback on interaction cost, copy, and recovery paths is specific and non-negotiable.
- Wireframe and drive the design conversation with the design team, catching clunky funding and KYC moments before users encounter them.
- Run user research on how people actually sign up, verify, and move money. Ask them to show you how they fund an account instead of asking hypothetical questions.
- Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, design, data, compliance, payments, and operations to deliver funded-user outcomes. Nothing in onboarding or funding ships without your sign-off on product and UX.
What you bring
- Consumer money-in funnel ownership: you have owned a consumer signup-to-deposit-to-funded flow and can walk through the funnel, the drop-offs you pursued, and the metrics that moved.
- Hands-on flow-of-funds ownership at the bank-API layer. You have integrated bank or embedded-banking APIs, whether direct bank APIs, banking-as-a-service, or rails providers, and owned a funding method, rail, or failure mode end to end. You can point to a specific flow or failure state you ran yourself: a settlement failure, an ACH return or NACHA edge case, a retry model, a routing decision, or a chargeback flow.
- Design sensibility as a product skill. You can critique money-in and identity UX with specifics like hierarchy, density, recovery, and trust. You can point to a flow you refused to ship until it was clear.
- An instinct for why funding has to feel instant in a live-event context where a slow or failed deposit costs volume in real time. You have designed under that pressure or can demonstrate you understand it.
- Data- and user-driven instincts by default. You instrument your own funnel, size opportunities, and prioritize off the numbers. You also run your own user research on how people sign up, verify, and fund, letting what you learn reshape the roadmap.
Nice to have
- KYC and identity verification depth. You have owned identity verification, step-up, or risk-tiered challenge decisions yourself.
- Regulated on/off-ramp or neobank experience at the intersection of compliance, rails, and consumer conversion.
- Prediction-market, sportsbook, or real-money-gaming background where you know why funding must feel instant during a live event.
- Deep design-tool and design-system fluency so you move faster treating design as a peer discipline rather than a handoff.
- AI-augmented product work using AI tools with human judgment in the loop to move faster on research, specs, and iteration.
