As a Product Manager II on Coinbase's developer team, you own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution of next-generation payment experiences that bridge traditional commerce with Web3. You drive the product roadmap for core offerings including the Payment Acceptance API, OAuth deep-linking integrations, and headless Onramp APIs, enabling seamless checkout and funding whether users pay via fiat (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or crypto (self-custodial wallets, Coinbase retail accounts, and stablecoins). You lead high-impact technical initiatives while collaborating closely with engineering, partner platforms, and payment service providers worldwide to expand global merchant adoption.
What you'll do
- Serve as end-to-end product DRI, driving the full product lifecycle for the Pay suite and overseeing both the merchant portal and checkout user experience including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and subscriptions
- Expand and optimize the headless Onramp API, Coinbase OAuth retail funding flows, and merchant payment acceptance infrastructure to power frictionless fiat-to-crypto and stablecoin payments
- Collaborate with cross-chain infrastructure providers such as Across and Relay to enable seamless multi-asset routing like USDT to USDC, and drive integrations with major commerce and PSP platforms including PPRO and Checkout.com
- Architect unified checkout experiences that connect traditional payment rails (Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit/credit cards, bank transfers) with decentralized ecosystems, DeFi applications, and self-custodial wallets
What you bring
- 6+ years of technical product management experience with deep understanding of payment service providers (PSPs), acquiring, authorization/settlement mechanics, and merchant acquiring ecosystems
- Solid familiarity with cross-border payment regulations, fintech compliance, and international licensing frameworks across major regions such as the US, EU, and LatAm
- Demonstrated success designing, launching, and scaling developer-facing products including headless APIs, SDKs, and deep-link/OAuth integration frameworks
- Working understanding of crypto transactions, stablecoins, self-custodial wallets, and cross-chain bridge/liquidity protocols
- Track record operating at an IC5 / Staff PM level, independently driving cross-functional roadmaps with engineering, business development, compliance, and tier-1 enterprise partners
What we offer
- Annual base salary of $148,835-$171,500 USD (varies by location)
- Equity and bonus eligibility
- Benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
- Remote-first work with quarterly in-person working sessions
